On the 24th, at the end of the CBS 'Kim Hyeon-jeong News Show,' host Kim Hyeon-jeong announced that the members of NewJeans will be appearing in a Christmas special on the 25th, which is Christmas Day.

Host Kim Hyeon-jeong, instead of mentioning the group name of NewJeans, who are in a legal dispute over their exclusive contract with Ador, drew attention by referring to them as 'five angels,' 'a global girl group,' and 'Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein.'

Kim continued by stating, “Even if only for an hour, we want to bring you comfort and peace,” explaining that the reason for preparing the special broadcast is “to create a show filled with comfort, peace, stories, and live music for you all.”

Last month, NewJeans announced through a press conference that their exclusive contract with Ador and Hybe is no longer valid due to 'the breach of a trust relationship' and indicated they would engage in independent activities. In response, Ador has filed a lawsuit with the Seoul Central District Court to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract.
