Jeon Jung-kook of the group BTS, who is serving in the military, sang about 30 songs over approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes during a Weverse live broadcast while on leave.

The live broadcast recorded a cumulative 20.2 million playbacks, achieving the highest number since Weverse opened in 2019.

According to Big Hit Music on the 19th, Jeon Jung-kook, who started the Weverse live broadcast at 11:39 p.m. the previous day, greeted, noting, "I really missed you and I'm nervous because it's been a long time."

He introduced the interior of the home he recently moved to along with updates on what he has been up to lately, saying, "I wanted to do a live broadcast during this vacation so I planned ahead and came out," and added, "I run every day and do weight training as well."

Jeon Jung-kook performed about 30 songs, including Taeyeon's "To. X," Block B's "Where Are You," Rosé's "APT.," and ILLYT's "Magnetic."

He also covered the latest songs by fellow BTS members, including Jin's "I'll Be There" and V's "Winter Ahead."

Jeon Jung-kook concluded the broadcast by saying, "I had so much fun today. I hope everyone is doing well, I will come back after more practice," and added, "It's a shame to leave, but I will come back again."

As of 1 p.m. that day, the live video had received 292 million hearts (equivalent to "likes").

Jeon Jung-kook, who enlisted last December and is currently serving as an active duty soldier in the army, will be discharged in June next year.
