The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Craft & Design Foundation announced on the 18th that they will unveil a video of Kim Tae-ri's hanbok photo shoot on an electronic billboard in Times Square, New York, on the 24th (local time) through a project promoting hanbok.

Since 2020, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been promoting the 'Hanbok Culture Hallyu Content Planning and Development' project to extend the reach of Hallyu to include traditional culture. Last year, actor Suzy participated, and in 2022, former figure skater Kim Yuna took part.

This year, four domestic hanbok brands selected through a public contest participated in designing hanboks that retain traditional beauty while incorporating a modern sense.

Kim Tae-ri's hanbok photo shoot will first be introduced in the January issue of the famous fashion magazine Marie Claire Korea on the 21st.

Additionally, the photo shoot video will be showcased on the large electronic billboard at Citadium Caumartin in Paris, France, from the 23rd to the 29th, and on the K-Culture Screen at the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History from the 23rd to the 31st.

At the 'Line of Elegance, Knot of Dignity' exhibition, held at the old Seoul Station, now Culture Station Seoul 284, from Jan. 15 to Feb. 11, authentic hanboks will be on display.
