The group NewJeans, Yoo Jae-seok, Gong Yoo, and IU are preferred advertising models by different generations.
The Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation (KOBACO) announced on the 18th that after surveying 2,000 consumers on their preferences for celebrities encountered through broadcasts and advertisements this year, it was found that teenagers prefer NewJeans, those in their 20s to 30s and 50s prefer Yoo Jae-seok, those in their 40s prefer Gong Yoo and IU, and those in their 60s prefer Son Heung-min as their favorite advertising model.
As for the entertainer and cultural program presenter that viewers want to ‘watch live,’ Yoo Jae-seok of MBC’s Hangout with Yoo topped the list with 16.8%, followed by Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea, broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo, and webtoon artist Gian84.
Yoo Jae-seok was chosen as the entertainer people want to watch next year as well, showcasing once again the unwavering presence as ‘national MC’ this year.
Kim Tae-ri, who played the title role in tvN’s Jeong Nyeoni, was selected as the actor people definitely want to watch next year. The most beloved male and female actors this year were Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won, the protagonists of tvN's The Queen of Tears, respectively.
Meanwhile, this survey was conducted online last month, targeting 2,000 men and women aged 14 to 69 nationwide. The sample error is ±2.2 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
