Actor Na In-woo, 30, was recently exempted from military service.
On the 17th, Na In-woo's agency Hanada Company noted, "He was waiting for contact from the Military Manpower Administration after being classified as a supplementary service member with a grade 4 physical examination result, but was notified he became exempted after 3 years." They refrained from commenting on the reason for the grade 4 classification, stating that "it requires verification."
According to the Military Service Act, if one is not drafted for three years after being classified as a supplementary service member with a grade 4 physical examination result, they receive a 'military exemption' status. Since 2019, more than 10,000 individuals have been exempted, and over 10,000 received this exemption this year as well. Na In-woo was among those who were listed in this category.
Previously, Na In-woo was waiting to enter the military after being classified as a supplementary service member with a grade 4 physical examination result. However, he became an 'exempted member' after not receiving a summons from the Military Manpower Administration for three years.
Na In-woo, born in 1994, received significant attention for the tvN drama "Marry My Husband," which concluded in February. He also attracted attention by attending the reward vacation for "Marry My Husband" after receiving permission for overseas travel from the Military Manpower Administration. Additionally, he made his mark on the KBS2 variety show "2 Days & 1 Night Season 4" since February of last year, although he had to leave due to military enlistment issues.
He has been cast in the drama “Motel California,” which will air in January next year, and is currently filming.
