Ghost Police poster

The poster backstory of the movie ‘Ghost Police’, the final work of the late actor Kim Su-mi, has been revealed.

According to the distributor JNC Media Group on the 13th, the first poster of Ghost Police features actor Shin Hyun-jun carrying Kim Su-mi on the back. This shot was an impromptu idea by Shin Hyun-jun on set. It is also reported that Kim Su-mi personally selected it on the spot.

The image of Shin Hyun-jun carrying Kim Su-mi is similar to the poster of the 2006 movie ‘Barefoot Ki-bong’, where the two passionately played a mother and son. On social networking services (SNS), the poster of the two in the same pose after 19 years is becoming a hot topic.

Shin Hyun-jun posted the poster photo on personal SNS, expressing, “As my mother wished, I also hope that many who are weary of everyday life will have a chance to laugh peacefully while watching this movie and once again feel the preciousness of family.”

Meanwhile, Ghost Police, which is set to be released next January, is a family comedy about a police officer who, after failing to strike it rich, gains insignificant abilities due to an untimely stroke of fate and gets involved in an unexpected incident with their family.
