Group GFRIEND

The group GFRIEND has reunited ahead of their 10th anniversary. This comes three years after their exclusive contract with Source Music ended.

On Oct. 10, GFRIEND stated on the fan platform Weverse Live, “We greet you as GFRIEND after a long time,” and noted, “We are diligently practicing in preparation for our solo concert and special album release.”

They continued, “There was someone who said, ‘I liked you since elementary school, and now I’ve become an adult and will attend your concert,’” adding, “This moment is unbelievable.”

Debuting in 2015 with 'Glass Bead,' GFRIEND went on to secure their position with consecutive hits like 'Me Gustas Tu' and 'Rough.' However, in May 2021, Source Music abruptly announced the end of GFRIEND's group activities.

Reuniting after three years, GFRIEND plans to release a special album, 'Season of Memories,' next month and hold a solo concert in celebration of their 10th anniversary next year.

GFRIEND said, “The solo concert scheduled for January sold out incredibly fast,” adding, “Members' opinions were heavily reflected in the setlist. There were so many songs that everyone wanted to sing, making it hard to choose.”

They are also actively participating as a full group in YouTube content. Recently, GFRIEND appeared on Dingo Music's YouTube channel 'Killing Voice,' performing their hit songs.

GFRIEND said, “‘Killing Voice’ was our first official schedule,” noting, “We were so nervous that our palms were sweaty. Watching everyone sing with effort felt surreal.” The 'Killing Voice' they appeared on surpassed 1.4 million views in less than a day after its release.
