Actor Byeon Woo-seok reportedly bought a unit in Hannam The Hill, a luxury residential complex in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, paying the entire 13 billion won price in cash.
According to the court registry on the 10th, Byeon Woo-seok bought a 235-square-meter exclusive-use unit at Hannam The Hill in May and completed the ownership transfer after paying the balance on the 2nd.
The sale price is 13 billion won. The registry shows no separate maximum mortgage set with the dwellings as collateral. Accordingly, Byeon Woo-seok is presumed to have paid the entire purchase price in cash.
Hannam The Hill, a luxury residential complex built in 2011 on the former Dankook University site, consists of 32 buildings with 600 units. Many celebrities are known to have lived there or currently live there, including BTS members Jin, RM and Jimin; actors So Jisub, Kim Hee-ae and Han Hyojoo; and singer Lee Seung-Chul.
On Apr. 4, it became known that musical actor Ok Joo Hyun, formerly of the group Fin.K.L, purchased a unit at Hannam The Hill. In July, it was also reported that BTS member Jin sold one of the three Hannam The Hill units he owned.
Born in 1991, Byeon Woo-seok is 34 years old. After beginning a career as a model in 2010, he switched to acting in 2016. He gained recognition by appearing in the drama Dear My Friends, Record of Youth and Strong Girl Nam-soon.
In particular, he rose to stardom as the lead in the 2024 tvN drama Lovely Runner. This year, he is continuing his activities with Perfect Crown, his first drama return in about two years.
