Eli, a singer from the group U-KISS, said he is remarrying. It comes six years after he divorced Ji Yeon-su in 2020.
On the 11th, Eli posted wedding photos taken with his fiancée on his social media (SNS) and, in a long message, said he is remarrying. The released photos show Eli in a tuxedo and his fiancée in a wedding dress with their pet dog.
Eli said, "The past five years have been the most difficult yet most transformative time of my life," adding, "They were filled with joy and hardship, tough lessons, personal growth, and moments that made me see life from a different perspective."
About his fiancée, he said, "I met a wonderful woman who brought understanding, happiness, and peace to my life," and added, "Her patience and support helped me get through the hardest times and made the good moments more meaningful."
Eli also said, "I am grateful to be able to share that I have found the person I will spend the rest of my life with," adding, "I am thankful for the chance to begin a new chapter in life with someone I truly love and respect."
He conveyed his thanks to fans and acquaintances who supported him since his U-KISS days, saying, "I would not be who I am today without those who stood by me during difficult times," and added, "As I begin a new chapter in life now, I am deeply grateful for the love, support, and encouragement."
Eli is reportedly scheduled to hold a wedding in Korea on the 14th. His fiancée is said to be a non-celebrity the same age as Eli.
Eli debuted in 2008 as a member of the group U-KISS. He left U-KISS in 2019 when his agency contract expired, then rejoined the team in 2023 and has continued his activities. In 2014, he married TV personality Ji Yeon-su, a former racing model who is 11 years older, and in 2016 they had a son. The two divorced in 2020.
