The photos were reportedly taken on the stage of a military band event held on the 23rd.
It was reported that in Jan. this year Cha Eun-woo received a notice from the National Tax Service to pay additional income tax exceeding 20 billion won, sparking suspicion of tax evasion. As the controversy grew, Cha Eun-woo said, "I will faithfully comply with the procedures related to taxes going forward," and added, "I will humbly accept the results according to the final determination by the relevant authorities and take full responsibility accordingly."
On the 8th, Cha Eun-woo fully paid the taxes for which he received the additional assessment notice. Cha Eun-woo said, "I sincerely apologize for causing disappointment and confusion to many people, including fans, due to the recent controversy over my tax payments," and added, "Respecting the National Tax Service's procedures and results, I paid all related taxes to prevent any further confusion."
Cha Eun-woo said, "I am taking this matter more seriously and deeply." He continued, "If there were parts I failed to examine sufficiently, all responsibility lies with me," and added, "I will not evade this by saying for any reason that I 'didn't know' or that it was 'someone else's judgment.'"
