On the 11th (local time), at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California, Lee Byung-hun was nominated for best actor in a musical or comedy motion picture for "It Can't Be Helped" but did not win.
The Golden Globe Awards, which present awards separately for film and TV, is one of Hollywood's major award ceremonies and has been held since 1944.
The best actor award in this category went to Timothée Chalamet for "Marty Supreme." In the musical or comedy motion picture category, Lee Byung-hun competed with George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ethan Hawke, but the youngest actor, Chalamet, took the prize.
When the winner was announced, Lee Byung-hun smiled and gave Chalamet a big round of applause.

Park Chan-wook's "It Can't Be Helped" earned three nominations at this year's Golden Globes: best motion picture, musical or comedy; best actor (Lee Byung-hun); and best motion picture, non-English language. The winners for best motion picture, musical or comedy, and best motion picture, non-English language, have not yet been announced.
Meanwhile, "Golden," the theme song for the Netflix film "K-pop Demon Hunters," won best original song. "K-pop Demon Hunters" is also nominated for best animated feature and box office achievement.
