Seoul Business Agency (SBA) on the 21st unveiled three teams of domestic and overseas ambassadors who will lead the global influencer expo "2025 SEOULCon."
SEOULCon is a K-culture expo that brings together Seoul's lifestyle industries such as fashion, music, and games. It will be held at DDP from on the 29th to Jan. 1.
Overseas ambassadors who will translate Seoul to the world at 2025 SEOULCon are Japan's No. 1 YouTuber ▲ Issei (85.83 million subscribers) and Indonesia's K-pop creator ▲ Irene Suwandi (22.11 million subscribers).
For domestic ambassadors, the virtual boy group under VLAST ▲ PLAVE (5.45 million subscribers) was selected. It carries symbolic meaning that Seoul leads the evolved future of K-content by breaking down the boundaries between reality and the virtual.
SEOULCon also released the 2025 SEOULCon key visual, planned together with co-host CJ ENM. Against the backdrop of Seoul landmarks such as DDP and Namsan Tower, it intuitively showcases the diverse content SEOULCon pursues.
The official website for 2025 SEOULCon has also officially opened. On the website, visitors can find information on major participating influencers and about 30 programs.
Kim Hyun-woo, president of Seoul Business Agency (SBA), said, "With the participation of the 2025 SEOULCon ambassadors, we hope Seoul's creative energy will spread more widely onto the global stage," and added, "We hope many influencers and citizens will join SEOULCon to create a warm year-end atmosphere together."
