According to the integrated box office computer network on the 31st, 'My Daughter is a Zombie' secured the top spot in the daily box office the previous day. With approximately 430,000 viewers and a revenue share of 48.6%, it marked a smooth start. As of 10:30 a.m. that day, 'My Daughter is a Zombie' recorded a reservation rate of 36.1% (about 197,000 advance ticket holders), ranking first.
'F1: The Movie,' which was previously holding the top position and starred Brad Pitt, dropped to second place with about 118,000 viewers the previous day. 'F1: The Movie,' which opened on the 25th of last month, gained popularity through word-of-mouth and has recorded a cumulative audience of approximately 2,637,000.
'My Daughter is a Zombie' is a comedy film depicting the story of a beast specialist, Jung-hwan (played by Jo Jung-suk), confronting his daughter Sua (played by Choi Yu-ri), who has been infected with a zombie virus.
