ProColombia noted, "We will highlight Colombia's diverse natural environment and its value as a sustainable travel destination while strengthening exchanges with Korea."
ProColombia, Colombia's official tourism agency, participated in the 2025 Korea International Tourism Fair to showcase Colombia's rich natural ecology and eco-tourism resources.
The Korea International Tourism Fair, held from 18th to 21st, is one of the largest travel fairs in the country. Alejandro Peláez Rodríguez, Colombia's ambassador to Korea, and Shirley Vega, the head of ProColombia's Korean branch, attended the opening ceremony. They emphasized the importance of international cooperation through cultural and natural exchanges and expressed a strong willingness to attract Korean tourists to Colombia.
The fair also featured performances of Colombia's traditional Cumbia and Salsa.
ProColombia plans to expand exchanges between Korea and Colombia centered on tourism and to further strengthen promotional activities for tourism in Korea. Information regarding tourism in Colombia can be found on Instagram or ProColombia's official travel website.
