Ahead of the announcement of this year's Asia's 50 Best Restaurants ranking, the list for 51-100 has been released. This year's list features Korea's Born & Bred ranking the highest at 51st.
This year, a total of six restaurants from Seoul are included in the ranking, making it one of the cities with the most selected restaurants alongside Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
The Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by Italy's S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, announced the 2025 rankings for restaurants in the 51-100 range on the 13th, ahead of the official awards ceremony. The rankings are determined by votes from the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants Academy, composed of prominent figures in the industry, including food journalists, critics, and chefs.
This year's 51-100 list includes restaurants selected from a total of 23 cities, including Seoul. There are a total of 13 newly listed restaurants. The highest-ranked new restaurant is Korea's Swanie at 57th.
Notably, a total of six restaurants, including Born & Bred, were included in the ranking from Seoul. Following them are Solbam at 55th, Swanie at 57th, Ala Prima at 61st, Kwon Sook Soo at 62nd, and Jungsik at 90th, all featured in this year's list.
William Drew, content director of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, noted that "this list reflects the dynamism and diversity of Asian gourmet culture" and added, "I hope the 51-100 list serves as a guide for gastronomes around the world to experience wonderful restaurants."
Meanwhile, the list for 1-50 of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 will be announced in Seoul on March 25. The awards ceremony will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Seoul city government, and it will be broadcast live through the official 50 Best YouTube and social media channels.
