The broadcast was recorded on Oct. 22 last year, in the city of Dangjin, Chungcheongnam-do, at the Chungnam Dangjin Indoor Gymnasium. Song Dae-gwan, who opened the performance, passionately sang while wearing a brightly colored patterned jacket.

The production team expressed condolences with a caption stating, "This broadcast was recorded on Oct. 22, 2024. We mourn the passing of the deceased."

Song Dae-gwan visited the emergency room at Seoul National University Hospital on the 6th due to health issues and passed away from a heart attack at the age of 79 on the morning of the 7th while receiving treatment.

Making his debut in 1967 as "the very friendly uncle," Song Dae-gwan left many hit songs such as "A Day in the Sunshine," "Popular Song," and "Four Beats." He continued to be active since the 1970s and was regarded as a representative figure in the trot genre, referred to as one of the "Four Kings of Trot" along with Tae Jin-ah, Seol Woon-do, and Go (late) Hyun-cheol.

Meanwhile, the deceased's last appearance during his lifetime will be aired again on the "National Singing Contest" on the 2nd of next month. This broadcast will feature the Yeongdeungpo District in Seoul, where the deceased participated in the recording last October.
